2. Providing the website
When you visit this website, technically necessary data such as your IP address, time, requested address and browser information are processed to deliver and secure the site. The website and its static content are served from the infrastructure operated for Windisch IT. Fonts, the logo and the portrait are served by this website without calls to external font or image services.
The legal basis is the legitimate interest in a secure and functioning website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
3. Contact enquiries
When you use the form, your name, email address, message and optional service selection are sent to the Windisch IT contact system and stored to respond to your enquiry. The system uses Directus. Form contents are not sent to Google Analytics. Your enquiry is processed regardless of your analytics cookie choice.
Enquiries about a possible engagement are processed for pre-contractual steps under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other enquiries are processed on the basis of a legitimate interest in responding under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Data is retained for as long as needed to handle the enquiry or comply with legal retention obligations.
Protection against automated enquiries
When you open the contact form, Cloudflare Turnstile from Cloudflare, Inc., USA, is loaded to detect automated enquiries and spam. Cloudflare processes technical signals such as IP address, browser information and the website being visited. Our server checks the result before saving the enquiry. Our application does not send your name, email address or message to the Turnstile verification endpoint. This check is independent of optional website analytics. You can also contact me by email or phone.
4. Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, is loaded only if you choose “Allow analytics”. It measures page views and selected interactions, such as contact clicks and successful acceptance of an enquiry. Names, email addresses and message contents from the form are not sent to Analytics. Free-text query parameters are removed from the page addresses we send.
Google Analytics may set cookies to recognise your browser. Data may also be transferred to the United States. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw consent at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer. Withdrawal applies to future processing and does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
5. Local preferences and external links
Your cookie choice and selected colour theme are stored locally in your browser. Language is determined by the page address. These functions remember your presentation preferences and privacy choice.
WhatsApp and LinkedIn are ordinary links. Only when you open one do you visit the respective provider, whose privacy terms then apply. No embedded maps, chat widgets or session recordings are loaded.
6. Your rights
Subject to legal requirements, you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons related to your particular situation. You may withdraw consent at any time. Please contact office@windisch-it.at.
